Dealing with the aftermath of exams – podcast

Podcast

So I am a little excited today.

The reason?

I just finished editing the first podcast I have ever created.

I sat down with Khristin, one of the counsellors here at Health, Counselling and Disability Services and we had a chat. And we recorded it.

We talked about the post-exam period, and how to deal with the different possible outcomes:

Outcome 1: You did really well and want to keep the momentum going

Outcome 2: You did well on some exams, but no so well on others

Outcome 3: You did badly on the exams (either objectively, or subjectively).

We talked about the practical and psychological strategies students can use if they want to keep their good run going, or if exams didn’t go so well, how to bounce back.

I am immensely grateful to Khristin for taking this first step into podcasting with me. I hope this is the first of many conversations I have with her about topics that are pertinent to being a student.

If you’ve got topics that you’d like Khristin and I to take on in future podcasts, let me know in the comments section, or email me on gareth.furber@flinders.edu.au

Otherwise, head to the link below and have a listen. Let me know if you have trouble accessing the link
