Financial capability workshops run by FUSA and OASIS

I’ve previously written about financial control as a key aspect of wellbeing. I see it as a critical component of long-term wellbeing. And the earlier you learn good financial management, the better off you will be in objective terms later in life.

Hence I am super excited to see FUSA and OASIS running some ‘financial capability workshops’ at OASIS during May.

There are three 1 hour workshops. Find out more and RSVP via Facebook.

Financial Capability Workshop 1: Managing Money Day to Day – May 9th, 2pm to 3pm

Join FUSA’s Student Assist team & Oasis for the first of three workshops dedicated to improving your financial capabilities!

‘Managing Money Day to Day’ will focus on building good money habits, tracking your incoming & outgoing money, looking at spending priorities, managing debt & credit use, cultivating a savings habit & issues surrounding commencing paid employment 💰🤓

Financial Capability Workshop 2: Make Informed Money Decisions – May 16th, 2pm to 3pm

Join FUSA’s Student Assist team & Oasis for the second workshop dedicated to improving your financial capabilities!

In ‘Make Informed Money Decisions’ we will be talking and learning about…money! We’ll be making money an everyday topic of conversation & providing you with the resources on where to go for support & guidance. This includes info on how to check your credit file & more! 👌👌👌

Financial Capability Workshop 3: Plan and Save For Your Future – May 23rd, 2pm to 3pm

Join FUSA’s Student Assist team & Oasis for the third & final workshop dedicated to improving your financial capabilities!

‘Plan & Save For Your Future’ will focus on improving your financial situation! If you missed out on the last two sessions, you’re in luck! The final workshop is an amazing recap of both workshops & touches on savings, super & staying informed!

Looks like it is part of a bigger push in May to run workshops and stalls on “How to Adult”
