Mental Health First Aid Training for Flinders Students 2026

Book your place to become an accredited Mental Health First Aider in 2026!

One in five Australian adults experiences a mental health problem. Mental Health First Aid is the initial help and support provided to a person experiencing a mental health issue or in a mental health crisis, until the appropriate professional help is received, or the crisis resolves.

The 2-day practical course and the Blended – online & 4 hour in person workshop course are accredited educational courses that will equip you with the skills to understand mental health issues and help others, using a proven, evidence-based Action Plan.

Free Accredited Training for Flinders Students

Flinders is offering this sought-after accreditation to our students for free, funded through our Students Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF).

*This course is for currently enrolled Flinders University students only.*

    1. Hi Brianna

It is possible they have been booked out. They are very popular. Email mhfa@flinders.edu.au and get yourself on the waiting list in case there is a cancellation. I’ll check with them whether there is a problem with the eventbrite listings.

    1. Hi Indianna

The MHFA team are regrouping to start organising dates for 2026. They will be posted here and promoted in the BetterU Newsletter when they go live.

      Thanks for your interest 🙂
