The Student Health and Wellbeing Blog is evolving into Better U—your central hub for student wellbeing at Flinders, with fresh updates, resources, and a brand-new look!
The Student Health and Wellbeing Blog, which has been running for over 7 years now is becoming Better U!
One of the first signs of that is the change in the email newsletter template.
If you are a subscriber, the email updates you get will now be wrapped in the skin pictured below. I do like that header 🤩
Then, as orientation kicks off (next week), you’ll see the Better U brand around and about on campus. This will include the launch of the Better U website (details coming soon).
With the rebrand comes a little bit of a change in the mission.
Last year, members of the Wellbeing Working Group (WWG) along with two recent honours psychology graduates finished a report, detailing a mapping that had been done of wellbeing initiatives happening around Flinders.
The conclusion? There is a lot happening around Flinders but we don’t always do a great job of promoting it.
Better U seeks to rectify that by becoming the central news source for all things student wellbeing at Flinders.
Details about what that means and how you can get involved will be released over the coming weeks and months.
For now, email newsletters will continue to come weekly, with news, articles and resources relating to building, maintaining or repairing your wellbeing. And the blog will continue to live at https://blogs.flinders.edu.au/student-health-and-well-being/
Looking forward to this next chapter.
