Missed the first Flinders Speaks session? You can still join 🎤

Missed the first Flinders Speaks session? You can join at any time to practise your presentation skills and build confidence in a supportive, judgement-free environment.

Flinders Speaks got off to a strong start last week, but if you missed the first session, you haven’t missed the program.

Students are welcome to join at any time. Although each week explores a different aspect of presenting, the sessions are designed so you don’t need to have attended an earlier one to take part.

The next session focuses on filler words – those ums, ahs and other verbal habits that tend to appear when we’re thinking on our feet. My filler word is ‘so’.

Flinders Speaks is free, practical and judgement-free. It gives you a supportive place to practise speaking, receive constructive feedback and build confidence for presentations, tutorials, interviews and everyday conversations.

No preparation is required, and you can attend whichever upcoming sessions suit you.

📅 Wednesday 12 August
🕥 10.30–11.30 am
