New Life Hacks Drop-in Sessions announced for 2024! Practical tools, techniques and strategies delivered in a fun and light way to improve both your wellbeing and academic performance.

LIFE HACKS DROP-IN SESSIONS

When: Weekly every Wednesday 2:10pm – 3:00pm (during semester time)

Where: Oasis – Student Wellbeing Centre – Bedford Park Campus – J7 on the map & ONLINE (links below)

LifeHacks Drop-In Sessions will provide you with practical tools, techniques and strategies in a fun and light way to improve both your wellbeing and academic performance.

Based on principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, we will teach you how to increase your Psychological Flexibility so that you can better navigate the struggles of life and study – through identifying what’s important to you (your values), helping you to clarify what action you will take to move meaningfully towards those values and providing evidence based strategies to deal with the thoughts and feelings that might get in your way.

Each week, we will reserve some question time where you can ask us anything about that particular topic or about anything else study and wellbeing related.

These sessions are free and confidential and are facilitated by counsellor Chris O’Grady and psychologist Dr Gareth Furber.

No need to book – just turn up. Free tea and coffee available.

See you there 😊
