Oasis activities for Wellbeing Week announced

As Wellbeing Week (9th to 13th September) approaches, all the various wellbeing-focused groups are getting their events on the calendar. Next in line – Oasis!!

A couple of weeks back I attempted to raise awareness of Wellbeing Week, running from the 9th to the 13th of September.

Since then, activities for Wellbeing Week have been formally taking shape.

For example, I posted last week about the Thrive Festival being run by CBGL.

The Oasis Student Community Wellbeing Centre has now published its activities for the week!

Highlights include:

  • The Gratitude Wall Installation will be at the City Campus this time around to bring cheers and vibrancy to the new space. 😊
  • Oasis staff and Wellbeing Ambassadors will kick off the event at City with activities including Mandala Colouring in, journalling/creative writing and Well-Bingo!!
  • At Bedford Park, highlight activities are Wellbeing Expo and African Drumming Activity on Wednesday.
    • At the Wellbeing Expo, participants will include Medibank, Headspace, Uniting Communities, SecondBite, PEACE Multicultural Services and Red Cross.
  • Thursday’s activation will be centred around the national event RU Ok? Day with a theme RU ok? Day Any Day.
  • In collaboration with FUSA, pop up stalls will be available across campuses including FMC.

All events are now registered and should be published in the Wellbeing Planner very soon.

I’ve added the schedule as a PDF. Print it out and circle the ones that are of interest to you and hop, skip, jump, run, walk, bus, train, car or bike your way there.
