Semester 2 Mental Health First Aid Training – Now Open for Enrolment!


Flinders students can now register for free Mental Health First Aid training in Semester 2, with multiple course formats and dates available at the Bedford Park campus.


🧠 Want to support friends or classmates going through a tough time? Learn practical skills to help someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis.

Flinders students can train to become a Mental Health First Aider in Semester 2. This free, evidence-based course is open to all enrolled students and offers two formats:


📘 Blended Course (Self-paced eLearning + 4-hour workshop)

📍 McHugh’s Building (near Car Park 9, South Ridge)

  • Course 1: Thurs 17 July | 9:30 AM–1:30 PM | Enrol by 18 June

  • Course 2: Thurs 14 August | 9:30 AM–1:30 PM | Enrol by 16 July

  • Course 3: Thurs 28 August | 9:30 AM–1:30 PM | Enrol by 30 July

  • Course 4: Thurs 11 September | 9:30 AM–1:30 PM | Enrol by 13 August

  • Course 5: Thurs 9 October | 9:30 AM–1:30 PM | Enrol by 10 September
