International students can join a study bootcamp at Bedford Park on 28 September for practical sessions on AI, literature searching, referencing and academic writing. Oh and snacks.
Got an assignment on the horizon? The mid-semester break is a good time to sharpen a few skills that could make the rest of semester easier.
International Student Services, Student Learning Support Service and Flinders Library are running an International Student Study Bootcamp on Monday 28 September. It’s a chance to pick up practical study tips, ask questions and meet other students. Snacks and refreshments are provided.
The day covers:
- 10–11 am: Using AI effectively for study
- 11 am–12:30 pm: Searching for literature
- 12:30–1:30 pm: Break
- 1:30–2:30 pm: Paraphrasing and referencing
- 2:30–3:30 pm: Academic writing
