The teams at Health, Counselling and Disability Services and Oasis run a range of wellbeing programs throughout the year.
As the academic year approaches, the dates for some of these programs are being announced.
Two that have just been announced are Mental Fitness workshops and Studyology.
Details about both are below. Love to see you there!
Mental fitness 🧠 is a state of psychological health and wellbeing that allows a person to manage the psychological demands of everyday life, prevent or treat mental ill health, facilitate participation in valued activities and/or feel good. The state is achieved and maintained by choosing activities (generally repeated ones) that strengthen certain psychological capacities, coupled with deep rest, good nutrition and ongoing care for one’s physical fitness.
If you’d like to learn about the different ways that people build mental fitness, then consider signing up to one of the 90-minute workshops running this year. There are two dates/times set aside for 2022.
