Mindful Yoga is a combination of gentle movement and contemplative practice.
It is taught by counsellor and qualified yoga teacher Maureen.
It is a popular program run across the year at Oasis Community Centre.
It is run on Tuesdays from 12.00pm to 1pm.
Maureen just updated the registration site with dates for the remainder of the year. There are two dates in October and four across November.

Slow, mindful yoga is not the same thing as strong, physical exercise yoga – it is a different practice with different goals. The goal of slow, mindful yoga is building awareness, self-regulating the nervous system, and deepening self-understanding. It is suitable for people of all ages, physical abilities and fitness levels. There is a specific focus on experiential practice of mindfulness skills, relaxation skills and gentle movements, suitable for stress management.
