HCD and Oasis Wellbeing Programs (December 2022) 📅

This post is intended to be an up-to-date detailed overview of the wellbeing programs and events being run out of Health, Counselling and Disability Services and Oasis. As we are at the end of 2022, most programs have finished for the year. As dates for 2023 are announced, I’ll update this post. Reading time ~ 9 minutes

The teams at Health, Counselling and Disability Services (HCDS) and Oasis work hard each year to put together a diverse range of wellbeing-focused programs and events.

These are the programs and events that students can participate in to help maximise their own wellbeing and productivity, but also become attentive and skilled at helping others.

These are in addition to the health, counselling, disability, and equal opportunity services that we already offer.

This blog post, which is pinned to the top of the Student Health and Wellbeing Blog is updated on a regular basis as programs are developed and launched.

I’ve also included in this list some programs that are run by other groups in the university that have a productivity/ wellbeing focus.

Subscribe to the HCDS newsletter to get updates on these programs throughout the year. You might also find it useful to sign up to Oasis Online where we track even more wellbeing programs and resources and provide discussion forums where you can discuss health and wellbeing. Oasis social media accounts are also great for finding out about last minute events that pop up throughout the year. Oasis are on Facebook and Instagram.

Because the type of help you need might not be related to wellbeing, remember also to visit https://students.flinders.edu.au/support which is the central source of information about all Flinders Student Services which covers health, wellbeing, study, learning, financial support, enrolment, course information, admin, technology, careers, employment, security and international and Indigenous students. 💻

Got a question about the programs we run? Feel free to email gareth.furber@flinders.edu.au with your questions 📩
