My colleague Chris runs some excellent wellbeing and performance programs. Two of them are gearing up for Semester 2, 2024.

If you are interested in learning or developing specific practices to improve your academic performance and/or personal wellbeing, these programs could be a great start.

The first – Mindfulness for Academic Success – is an evidence-based wellbeing program, delivered face-to-face in five 60-minute sessions, and designed to teach students how to use mindfulness to reduce stress, improve focus, stop procrastinating, and study and communicate more effectively.

The Semester 2 program, open to all students, kicks off on August 6th from 10am to 11am at the Oasis Student Wellbeing Centre.

You can learn more about the program here.

Apply to participate here.

The second – Life Hacks – are weekly drop-in sessions focused on equipping students with practical tools, techniques and strategies to improve wellbeing and academic performance. The sessions are informal and delivered in a fun, light and interactive way to help everyone feel welcome.

No need to book, just rock up. You can see the program of what is covered in each session here.
